My internet explorer wont let me sign into hotmail, and
it wont log into any page that requires you to log in, i
think it might be a problem with the cookies, but
probably not. I have looked in the advanced section of
the the internet options and the SSl's are checked. I
just cant figure out the problem please help me.

Hi Jake:
Do you have any ad killer programs? like "ad subtract" or
something similar"? some firewalls can prevent cookies
from installing. Have you opened your TIF temporary
internet files to see if any cookies are in their?

I'm having a similar problem, except mine is with the
messenger 6.1 . It doesn't recognize my presence after a
2nd download of messenger(update). Try checking your mail
server connection, or outlook express.

A lot of the Internet Security Firewalls come set with defaults that
could affect you. One of them is to block info about your browser.
Uncheck this if checked. You are still protected but MS sites in
particular are real sensitive to the exchange of browser identities
