When I turn on my Wndows XP Home Edition one of the programs also tries to
start up. Coral Paint SHop Pro X keeps appearing. After about 7 or 8 clicks
of the cancel button it eventually dissapears. How do I get it off my start
set up?

First open Corel Paint Shop Pro and look for the option not to start
with Windows in its Preferences. If it does not have that option
available (it probably does), then use the System Configuration Utility
to prevent it from starting with Windows.

Start>Run>msconfig [enter]

This brings up the System Configuration Utility. Look on the Startup tab
and find any entries for Paint Shop Pro. Uncheck the box next to its
name, Apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but the
next time you do you'll get a dialog saying you've used the Utility.
Just tick the box that says in effect, "don't bother me about this
again".

You can also remove it by going to Start > All Program > right click on
Startup > click Open. This will show you all the programs that run
automatically when you login. Simply delete the program that you do not want
to automatically start.

Note: deleting only removes the shortcut from the startup folder. It does
not uninstall the program.

Didn't work as when I went into the config there were no entries for corel
paint shop pro x too uncheck.

Doesn't work. When I do this no programs at all appear where you say it will
show all programs that run automatically.
