Hello
I notised it a couple of days ago...
I am not sure if that has something to do with my system or IE6....
I have had registered with a few internet forums, web sites ets.,where ''log
in'' username and passwords are required. In some of them there is an option
''log me in automaticly next time'' and a box you have to check if you want
next time to be logged in automaticly.
Well now I have to log in manualy everytime I go to these sites even though
I have checked the box the last time I have been there!!! On top of
everything sometimes I got messages that I have used wrong username or
password, which is just not true, because I remember very well my usernames
and passwords and my windows remembers them as well.
I dont know what todo
any help appreciated
thanks very much

The 'log in automatically' option is based on you
allowing the login page to write a cookie to your
computer with the login info.
Check your privacy and security settings, make
sure 'allow first party cookies' is selected.
I suggest you go to Tools, internet options, Privacy,
Advanced, select accept first party cookies, block third
party cookies, always allow session cookies. Keep in
mind, some internet banking login pages require you to
allow a third party cookie, so when you get to their
homepage, go and change third party to 'prompt' then you
can make an allowance for that particular cookie at the
bottom of your privacy page by opening override cookie
handling....
hope this helps
Liz
