Hello people.

There's a Linux/UNIX program called GKRellm, which is essentially a bar that
displays things like memory/swap space usage, Internet connection statistics,
free disk space...

Q: Does someone know of any program like this, for Windows?

I found a Windows version of GKRellm but it's mainly for Win 2000/XP.
I use Win 98 SE.

Thanks!

What exactly are you trying to monitor? MBM ( http://mbm.livewiredev.com/
) lets you monitor temperatures, disk space, memory, CPU load, fan speeds,
etc. It can either live solely on the system tray, or it can display a
"dashboard" with different dials. I belive you can resize the dashboard to
look somewhat like a bar.

I've been on the same search you have, and MBM was the closest I could
find.

You may want to check out StatBar: http://www.statbar.nl/

"StatBar is a freeware system status bar which provides a handy, orderly
overview of your system's condition. StatBar comes with 6 different
color schemes and 19 information modules, allowing you to monitor and
control various aspects of your system. This includes memory, CPU and
disk usages, system uptime, Winamp control, network throughput, Internet
time synchronization, and more."

I want to have a general overview of my system statistics.

This may be what I want. Thank you.

(PS: I found a GKRellm for Windows, but I _hate_ GTK-based programs under
Windows)
