I have an old Roamer Pocket watch. Been looking online ro somehoe identify it's age but keep coming up with nothing. I have a load of numbers etched to the inside rear of the watch but they mean nothing to me really

Not even a date I would like to guess at. the nearest I can see to a date is 25-5-38 however i'm not entirely sure tbh. I have looked online gone to different places but keep coming up with blanks

Any ideas guys?

Thanks?

I tried to date a watch I was given, and eventually I found a website that dated these particular watches (some Longines one) by numbers. i.e. issue 20000-30000 was from 1960 etc...

It was years ago now, so I'm not sure of the site - but they do exist for some makes :)

Yes please. I cant take a pic of number they are too small but I will put a pic up later on of the watch its self.

It is a Chromium Plated Pure nickel Roamer with 15 jewels

That is all I know :( apart from geting every number off the inside

They are:

D323 looks like F could be X
O/T/X

P451
Q49
Q94

4222.52
E
3986.56

39/95

1852 i think signifies when the company was established

28/5/38 above that there is writing but I can't make it out J something

Thanks mate will do a pic later
