Someone put a password on my computer and now unable to access windows

i need help getting getting onto windows. someone put a
password by accident and forgot what it was help me
please....
 
Try booting into safe mode and acess the hidden admin
account. It may or may not have a password on it
depending on the windows installation. Once you have
logged into this account just change the password of your
other account via the control panel....hope this helps

Try leaving the password blank.

The password is Case Sensitive.
Check Caps Lock and try various of Capital combinations.

If you do not have a Password Recovery Disk, it is to late to make it.
Or
Log in to any account that has Administrator access.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select the user and change the password.

Reboot to Safe Mode, select Administrator, leave password blank.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select the user and change the password.
If you are using Windows XP Pro and have encrypted data, you may
permanently lose access to the encrypted data.

Another option is to install Windows XP on another partition and take
Ownership of your data.
You could also perform another installation on the same partition,
although this is not a permanent fix and it is recommended to perform
a Clean Installation after retrieving your data.

After this is resolved, take precautions to not lose the password.

computer reboots, yes you will need to restart. this is
the only way to remove an account password that has been
forgotten unless the administrator password has been
changed or forgotten, in that case thonly way to remove a
password is to back up the files on your hard drive and
reformat and reinstall
