I created a presentation in PowerPoint 2008 for Mac and want it to play on
PCs with PowerPoint 2003. Some of the .wav sound files play in 2003, but
some don't. What's the difference?

Do I need to download PowerPoint viewer for those who don't have PowerPoint?
I thought that saving a presentation in Package includes a viewer.

My guess is that your sound problem has nothing to do with going from Mac to
PC. Are all the WAV files embedded or are some linked files? Did you send
the WAV files with your presentation or just the presentation? You might
want to check out:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation
