Some sites work and some don't and then they do!

On different days I find that some sites don't work for me and then on other
days they do.

I have checked the same sites on another PC and found them working all the
time!

The curious thing is that it is the same set of sites, otherwise related,
which fail together.
I am sure it must be something about this PC but why should it be only
certain sites and not every day?

I hope someone can help
