Strangely, a few web sites won't open with IE6. I've disabled the virus protection, firewall. Have run Spybot. Have renamed "HOSTS" to be "OLDHOSTS". Have checked security settings. What else can I do.

If needed.
Microsoft's Scripting download
Get the latest. Two download versions are available for Windows Script 5.6.
The first version requires Windows 2000, XP; the second version requires
Microsoft Windows 98, Millenium Edition (Me), or NT 4.0.
Choose the download appropriate for your operating system. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
When I try the sites with VisualRoute, I get this: "Problems occurred when transporting data across this route". But another PC in my house has no problem reaching these sites (e.g. www.wsj.com). I deleted all the cookies, as MSFT web site suggested. Now when I go to Amazon.com, and try to log in, I can't do it on the secure server (but can on the standard server.) I know that's a clue, but I'm not sure what to do with it. (By the way, I'm using Windows 98.
