Some sites won't open with IE 6

Some of the web sites I try to visit simply won't open using IE 6. If
I use Firefox I have no problem accessing them. Does anyone know why
this problem occurs? I've tried putting the web sites into my
"Trusted Sites" list and they still won't open using IE 6.

You'd have to give us some url's as examples so we could check them out
for you. When you post back with that information, please include what
service pack level your XP is, too.

try this:
On the Start menu, click Run.
Type each of the following commands in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
After each command is executed successfully, you will receive a
"DllRegisterServer succeeded" message. Wait until you receive this message
before continuing to the next command.

REGSVR32 initpki.dll
REGSVR32 Rsaenh.dll
REGSVR32 Mssip32.dll
REGSVR32 Cryptdlg.dll
REGSVR32 Dssenh.dll

I tried doing that and most of the commands failed. I checked to see
if the commands that succeeded would solve the problem, but they
didn't.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
