We have certain sites that keep telling us to allow cookies, but we have
done just about everything to allow them. Turn off firewall, add to
"allowed" list, set lowest possible privacy setting, etc.
Is there something else we should know.???
Thx

Very often problems with setting cookies, Internet-related problems,
etc. are due to spyware on the computer. Do this maintenance:

1) scan with current antivirus ("current" means a version not earlier
than 2002 but using updated virus definitions); 2) remove spyware with
Spybot Search & Destroy (www.safer-networking.org) and Ad-aware
(www.lavasoftusa.com). These programs are free, so use them both since
they complement each other. Be sure to update these programs before
running, and it is a good idea to do virus/spyware scans in Safe Mode.

After you know your computer is clean, if you're still having problems,
repost. Be sure to tell us how you're getting to the Internet (method
and ISP), the sites where you are having problems, and what you've
already done to troubleshoot.
