In the realm of Moviemaker 2 and Photostory 3 - everything was going well
until my computer crashed
several weeks ago, and had to be sent in for repairs.
I was in the middle of making Photo Story excerpts for a
movie which I intended to burn to DVD's for my kids for Christmas.
Whilst I had backups they managed to save all my data
including projects, wmv files etc on my second drive, and saved some the
data from my maindrive to a file called "Old data".
Then they installed a newer version of Windows XP.
This has caused problems - my scanner does not work properly etc, and I have
had to reinstall some programs.
My questions are:
1. I have Photo Story 3 and would like to download the
latest version 3.1. Can I do this and still work on my
projects already compiled in 3.
2. Do I have to uninstall 3 in this case.
3. And re Movie Maker, I had downloaded quite a few
codecs I needed, and have forgotten where to find them.
Could someone point me in the right direction.
I am crossing my fingers that Nero will work successfully.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
