I can print to network printer from MS Word but Quicken
and Lotus do not see that printer in the printer
selection dialog box.

Anyone have a solution?

I just got past this same issue!

When Quicken configures a printer, it adds the words "on NeXX" to the
printer name. The NeXX must be an internal structure. Anyway, it gets
confused when the printer has the word "on" in it! It assumes the next
word should be NeXX and instead it finds the network name.

Rename the printer so it does not have the word "on" in it.

Quicken should change their code to parse from the end looking for the
word "on" instead of parsing from the start of the string.
