Some pitchers not transfering

I have a Kodak m1063 and a machines w3107 computer and using easyshare 7.1.
When I transfer my pitchers to my computer some of them don't transfer. Is it
because some of them are so close to being the same? It says checking for
duplicates when I start transferring. If so how can I disable that. I would
appreciate any help. The owners manual on this camera is worthless I have had
to learn how to do everything on my on. Thanks! Tim.

Personally...I would not use the Kodak software.

I would connect the camera to USB or better
yet...insert the memory card into a USB card
reader (internal or external).

AutoPlay should open and ask you what
you want to do...just select
'Open Folder to View Files'.
Open the folder and go to...
Edit / Select All
Edit / Copy

Now create a new folder on your desktop...
Right click / New / Folder...

Next...right click the new folder and select Paste.

This will copy all the selected files into the folder.

Be sure your camera is set to consecutive file
numbers...IOW...don't allow it to name each new
batch with the previously used numbers.

Thanks, When I try that, AutoPlay doesn't open.
Ether way, plugging the camera into a USB port or plugging the SD card into
the SD port nothing happens. But when I plug a SD card from an other camera
in, AutoPlay comes up and everything works fine. Do I need to go threw my
computer and take out everything to do with Kodak and easyshare? Thank you so
much for your help. Tim.

If you connect the camera or insert the memory
card in your reader and nothing happens...go to...
My Computer and right click the icon for that drive.
Probably says: "Removable Disk"...choose /
Properties / Open...

This should allow you access the the folders on
the card.

FWIW...using the card reader is better than
connecting the camera...Why?

You don't drain your camera's batteries.

Downloading from the camera when you have
low batteries (which you may have after a photo
session) can cause corrupt images.

With my Kodak camera, after struggling for a while, I removed all the
EasyShare software and went with an SD card reader.

This resolved all my problems with the did-not-play-nice EasyShare.

Still very busy over in the Excel groups.

I lurk here but generally have not much to offer that yourself and PapaJohn
or Graham haven't covered.

Thought I could add my experience with the Kodak EasyShare software once
again since OP wondered if he should uninstall.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I definitely agree that a card reader
is the best and easiest method.
