Describe exactly how you configured OL with the old PST. If you've done it
correctly, you will see all the data the old PST contains and if it doesn't
show, then it wasn't there to begin with.

I have stored "outlook.pst" and "archive.pst " file in D: drive after
installation of OS and outlook 2003 .I have added "outlook.pst" and
"archive.pst " file through control panel->mail->Data files->Add and mapped
"outlook.pst" and "archive.pst "file.

Then I have changed current mail delivery location in tools->E mail
accounts->View or change existing ->New outlook date file-> and mapped
D:/outlook.pst files

I am able to see all the inbox subfolder mails .only mail are missing
which stroed directly unuder inbox .

I hope i didnt confuse you ?
one more doubt is before formatting machine all the mail were stored
directly under archive folder
