Some links freeze

Quite a few times I have experienced my command to "empty junk e-mail " and
the command to "empty the deleted file folder" will not work and it seems to
just freeze. I have to close my e-mail and restart it several times before I
can get any response. I have tried to repair Windows Mail but the problem
returned.

The second problem I experience is when I will click on a link in a e-mail
and a box comes up saying that "it cannot find ................", this being
the address I clicked on. Yet right after that the page/link appears in my
browser.

Can anyone direct me to a site that will help me, or, if you have had the
same problem what did you do to correct it? Thank you.

I had the same problem seems to be most evident if you are using a browser
other than IE. One way to work around this problem and also a much safer way
to follow any links sent via email is to copy and paste the link into your
browser, this serves 2 purposes it avoids that pop up message and it also
gives you a chance to see if the link is what you think it is.
