Some links don't work

On my XP Home wireless laptop, some links don't work. For example, on the
Dell website when I am looking at my order status, I click on a link that is
supposed to open a new window. Instead, my cursor stays in its hand form for
about 30 seconds and it seems as if IE isn't responding. Then, the cursor
changes back into the normal arrow, and IE acts as if nothing has happened,
except the window never pops up. It's not a problem with the Dell site,
because I can do it on my XP Pro desktop. This started two nights ago,
apparently at random.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.

I've done Spybot and AdAware. I've also tried restoring it to several points
in the past, all without triumph.

Ok, I did Hijack This and checked everything on there; it was ok. CWShredder
said the system was clean.
