Some invitations do not leave outbox

All other email flows without problems, however, sometimes I receive this
error for some mailed invitations to meetings sent as information only:

Task '... - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC13) : 'Unable to connect to the
network. Check your network connection or modem.'

I use DSL.

Other times, meetings go through fine.

Not sure if this is part of the problem, but I do not use the default
directory for my inbox. I backup My Documents and have a subdirectory under
My Documents for Outlook so I only have to backup a small tree.

Are the invites with the problems ones for appointments that were scheduled
originally from a PDA or something like that? If so, then we are having the
same problem. I have a post on this issue already (see post with Subject:
can't send invites for appointments originally scheduled from ipaq) but so
far no response...

After further investigation, I have come to realize the source is from a PPC
(fully patched/up-to-date OS). I have removed, rebooted, synched, then
re-entered the record, but no change.

Sounds like the same problem as mine then...my Ipaq is Windows Mobile 2003 SE
- couldn't find any patches so seems to be up to date. Hopefully someone out
there has a solution...
