Some images not showing

Hello since a few months ago some (and only some)
of the gifs and jpgs don't show in my email and
explorer browser. I cannot figure why this is
happening. Any input appreciated.
 
I think somebody turn off "show pictures" option. From IE tools menu
open Internet options then click Advanced. You will observe "show
pictures" under multimedia section. Just tick the option.
