Some I send sounds to can't play it

Got help before w/ linking sound wavs, thanks. Turned out the problem was I had to go into tools and increase the kb to link sounds. Great
However, when I emailed my presentation out, some heard the music, some didn't. I thought maybe because some listeners had a lab top, but no, they get other sounds (could it be the length?) Another PC in my office played it when emailed, and we didn't adjust the upper limit on kb's on that one
Can ya'll help?
 
I would think that if the sounds were embedded in the presentation and the
person had sound capabilities, they should hear it. I know you would hate
to ask someone, but had they turned their speakers up?

Oh yeah, that's the first thing I asked. No, everyone's sound is functioning properly. What else could it be?
