Some fax printers are inaccessible

Hi

I have removed winfax and hope to use remote fax sharing using WIndows
XP pro on Dell systems. I have installed a fax printer on the host
and the remote fax printer on a client. However, the client does is
not able to access the remote fax printer.

The "Fax Printer Status" says that the printer is unavailable.

Can you please help me?

So, what operating system is the "Host" computer running? Shared Fax
Services are only available from Small Business Server and Windows 2003
Server. If your Host machine is running Windows XP, the Fax service cannot
be shared.

The host is running XP Pro.
 
The host is running XP Pro. Can you suggest a solution that will enable me to send faxes from one computer - and not tie up phone lines at people's desks? We are a group of 4 people -- and send out about 10 faxes each day.
