Some Collection clips do not play in the Playback Monitor.

Hi,
I'm experiancing a strange problem with my Collections.
Some of the clips I try to play just don't play in the Playback
Monitor.
Here's what happens...
1) I click play.
2) for about 15 seconds, nothing happens.
3) then I'll hear the sound for the clip but the video stays on the
1st frame.

This problem is happening with about 90% of my clips, some clips just
play fine.

If I drag the clip to the timeline and play it from the timeline then
it's fine, but it still will not play if I try to run it from the
collections.

I didn't have this problem (I think) until I reloaded my PC and copied
the MEDIATAB0.DAT to it's proper location.
I do have the source video in a new location but I re-located all the
video so that each clip knows it's video source.

Anyone have any idea or clue what my problem could be?
