We are using Windows XP and Office XP - Outlook 2002 and
Word 2002

When one of my users performs a mail merge to create
labels in Word and chooses to use her Outlook Contacts,
about 20% of the labels don't show business addresses
even though the business addresses are listed in the
Contact item with the "This is the mailing address" box
checked. The labels only show the name and company, but
no business address.

were the contacts created in a different version of Outlook? if so, they use
different field names for the addresses. To confirm, export the contacts to
Excel - you can easily move the data around and import it back into outlook.
