Hi
I use Excel 2007 pro. and my national setting is DK - meaning that the
decimal sign is ",".
When I use Solver and give target value with decimal (ex. 20,3) problem gets
solved and I accept the solution. If I reopen solver to recalculate the
problem the decimal have disappeared (ex. 20,3 is now 203). Is there any way
to solve this “misbehaviour

Dear Kim
Where did you set the decimal sign?
HAve a look at here to see if it is defined as you say:
Control Panel| Regional Setting| Regional Option Tab, Click Customize
box on right side, In Numbers tab in the first row you see Decimal
Symbol. Is it a comma or point.
These are told are valid for Window XP and might be slightly different
for other OS.
One question, if in DK the decimal is a comma, then what do you use
instead of "comma" in Excel functions. Sounds confusing for me.

Thank you for your reply - I will try to answer as good as I can:
My regional setting via control panel is Danish and the settings in numbers
are:
123.456.789,00
so the decimal sign is comma.
In excell I use comma as decimal sign, in cells, in functions even in VBA.
If in Solver I try to use "." (dot) as decimal sign it is not accepted.
Hope this clarify my settings.
Kim
