Problem: You're reading a newsgroup in Microsoft Outlook but the
threads are not correctly indented. You want all the replies to a
given thread to be progressively indented, but they are all flushed to
the left margin. (I believe the indentation comes as a default, but
sometimes it can get turned off accidentally). I could find NO
documentation ANYWHERE to fix this problem.
SOLUTION:
This works for me, try it and see what you think:
Go to View->Current View->Customize Current View
(you can also get to this dialog by right-clicking on the column
headers)
Select "Group by" and choose "Conversation", hit OK.
THEN select "Sort..." and choose "Convesation Index", hit OK, OK.
It's the "Sort by Conversation Index" that's the key.
So now you know. (And hopefully you didn't spend a half hour searching
for this post like I did.)
