Hi TNT900,
ERROR:
The application or DLL c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CARDS.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation
diskette.
CAUSE:
The most likely cause for that error is a corrupt cards.dll file
RESOLUTION:
To resolve the issue, please perform the following steps:
1. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to: C:\WINDOWS\system32
2. Right-click and rename the cards.dll file to oldcards.dll
3. Insert your Windows XP CD when prompted by Windows File Protection
4. Follow the prompts and reboot once cards.dll has been successfully restored.
Hope that helps! Please post back if you have any questions.
