Fantastic Idea. Not gonna take off anytime soon though

I see the fascination. I can't see the urgency to put them into production though. The initial cost of ripping up old highways, installing the cables/fibre optics in this country alone would cost multiple billions of £'s. Ain't gonna happen this decade...

Near idea but I recon cars like this are the next thing. Followed by much lighter all electric cars.
