There is no way for any of us to know what "won't let me" means, but if
there is no Palm software for Vista for your particular piece of
hardware, you can't use that hardware with Vista. End of story.
If this isn't your issue, then post back with a better description of
what the problem is and what you've tried.
Where are you trying to download software from and what software. Please
learn to post sufficient information in your posts as if you continue to
skimp on info, you will get bypassed
