Well what can I say. Looking for software to convert a .mp3 to .cda. I
have a few audio books that I want to be able to listen to in the car
for those long trips. Everything I have tried fails to work. I would
prefer it to directly put it in .cda but will take anything that will
work. Tried searching and never found anything that actually worked.
That is when I thought I would try here as I have in the past and had
good luck. Any help is appreciated.

I assume (possibly wrongly) That you are going to burn them to CD
yourself? What software do you use? Most writers come with either nero
or ezcd which will both do the conversion automatically for you.

CDA is a CD filetype that is actually WAV in format. Encoding MP3 to WAV
would make them about 10 times larger (or more.)

You can convert MP3 to WAV easily using a number of programs, including
Winamp.

Thanks for the advice and will give it a go. I use Nero and Alcohol
120%. I did not realize that they would do that.
