Combine how?

As in a collage (several images in one project
like a scrapbook page).

Or as in a Panorama (this connects several images
end to end...and blends them into one long image).
(also known as Stitching).

To make it clear and concise, I think I should ask "software that can join
jpeg photos" instead of "combine photos".

Dear Anne,

It's very useful for me, I can use the function "save selected thumb as an
file" to join several jpeg into one.
And most important that it's a freeware.
Thanks a lot for your help.

All programs can do this (not that your clarification clarifies anything). Paint - Open pic1 - resize canvas - Edit menu - Paste From... - Move the new image to the right or down revealing the original.

But Irfanview is far more user friendly and automatically.
