Sir,

I am working as Adminstrator , when I want to restrict
some group of Domainusers for using MS-POWERPONT, I faced
some difficulties.

please advice me by giving the path.

I hope i can get it soon.

Thanking You,
venu.

You can give those users deny ntfs permissions to the Power Point
folder/file. Best to create a group, add them to the group and then give the
group deny permissions. Ntfs permissions can be applied via Group Policy to
computers [not users] if necessary. There is also a Group Policy user
configuration setting under user configration/administrative
templates/system - don't run specified Windows applications, where you could
add the Power Point executable to. That is not 100% fullproof, if users
figure out and have the ability to change the name of the executable. But
the combination of ntfs permissions and "don't run" setting should work
pretty well as long as they are not administrators on their computers. ---
