Software NAT?

I know it doesn't really make sense, but I'd rather set up a software NAT
machine than have a router / firewall that also does NAT. Is there any
possible way (within windows 2k to do this - and I don't mean ICS - I'm
totally fed up with that now).

Cheers.

Windows 2000 Server provides RRAS/NAT plus there are numerous third party
product which will run in Win2k Pro.

As Doug says, yes, you can do this. As I say, why would you do this?
Hardware appliances are so cheap these days I just don't see the point of
trying to make a pig dance, and I hope you will kindly pardon my flippancy.

Today my Staples Circular shows a Linksys wirelessB router - which of course
includes wired routing capability - for $9.95. No mail in rebates - just
$9.95 plus tax.
