That's unclear, because your post is ambiguous. When you say that the
Office2K CDs are from your "old desktop computer," do you mean that
Office came pre-installed on that earlier computer? If so, you have
what is known as an OEM license for Office 2K, and this cannot
legitimately be transferred to any other computer, ever. It also means
that you'd have to contact the manufacturer of that old computer to
obtain the Product Key for their OEM license.
If, on the other hand, you have a retail (store-bought) license for
Office 2K, you can transfer it, so long as you have the Product Key.
Unfortunately, I don't believe that Office 2K is supported any more.
