Recently I had to reinstall xp and without going into too much detail
for a while I had two installations on my drive
Now I have one
I can install my scanner but when I try and install the Canoscan
software I get the message I am
"attempting to access an invalid address"
This occurs with any drive and also when I download the software from
canon
and try and run it from my hard drive.
I'm assuming this means the computer knows that setup is there..it
appears ok , I can use readmes etc but setup itself can't find
something it needs (twain driver perhaps)
or is this some odd problem in finding setup itself
My specs don't seem very relevant in this case but I am running xp pro
with service pack 1 and latest security updates
I haven't been able to find this problem mentioned in the newsgroups
so any assistance is appreciated.
