All the software installed in windows xp enviroment change the registry? what key?
 
This is a Windows 2000 group. The answer to your question is too broad
anyway. It all depends on the software. It could update stuff all over the
place, if it's something complex.

Could be hundreds...

Get a software installation registry monitoring tool (like InCtrl5) and
track the changes.
