I installed Vista this morning, no major issues but I have had a couple of
troubles.

I use BT total broadband. I have been able to set up an internet connection
etc no probs but I cannot install the BT broadband software. This includes
all of the security that comes with it.

When I try to use the software update centre (For bt broadband) the
installation checker program will not load.

Visat asks me to reload as an administrator. I am an administrator and even
when I choose this option it still fails.

I understand that most softwaare out there is specific to XP (drivers also)
so is this what is causing the problem?

Any help appreciated.
