Software Installation Error

I cannot get Kodak Easyshare Software to install. I am
running Windows 2000 Professional. I keep getting Error
code 12x17x1603x. I have updated 2000 with several service
packs-SP1,Sp4,Sp6.I have tried every other source of info
I can find. PLEASE HELP!

The error code you gave is from Kodak and not Windows. What version of Easyshare are you trying to install? I ask
because I saw some information about versions 3.0, 3.0.1, and 3.1 not working correctly with Windows 2000 but version 3.2
and up does work correctly.

By the way, I'm not sure what SP6 you are referencing since SP4 is currently as high as we go for Windows 2000.
