Hi.
Until now I have relied upon the reputable freebies: AVG, Sygate, Spybot and
Adaware for my internet security. However, I'm starting to get a little
tired of chasing my tail on this one, and wonder if paying up for an
intergrated solution might not be a plan. What do the people around here
think of these all-in-one internet security packages from folks like Norton
and Mcaffee? Is there a standout option with these kinds of antivirus,
anti-spam, firewall combi packages? I know that the Norton 2005 software
has got a slamming for slowing the system down or whatever, but, other than
that, anyone got anything good to say about it or any of its competitors?
Just interested to know. It feels like a good time to give up the freebies
and invest? Thanks.

maybe you could elaborate on what you mean by "chasing my tail"
means... you obviously are unsatisfied with some aspect of what you've
been doing so far - what is it that's inspired this?

integration isn't all it's cracked up to be, as far as i'm concerned...

best i can figure is that if you buy a combo it might be cheaper than
purchasing each component separately... maybe... depending on all kinds
of things...

any reason why you don't want to invest in the products you've already
been using?
