Hello!
How to make sure that 350 watt is enouth for my hardware? What software
would show PSU voltage dropping? I have 4 HDDs, 2 DVD drives, PCI IDE
controller and other cards. Mainboard is Chaintech 6btm. OS is Windows XP SP2.
Best regards,
Dima

Thanks Rock for the links!
I saw software which registers abnormal voltage drops. What is a name of the
software.

Sorry I don't know. There are motherboard monitor utilities to monitor
voltages to the CPU and motherboard but I haven't seen one for the PSU
itself. You can get those from the board manufacturer. I have one from
Intel called motherboard monitor.

Software only reads information from a voltage monitor: hardware
designed on motherboard. That is hardware unique to that motherboard
manufacturer - not found on all motherboards. It is a monitor -
intended to detect voltage changes. To accurately read specific
voltages, first monitor hardware must be calibrated with a 3.5 digit
multimeter.
