Does anyone know of a good (but not super expensive) program for making
slideshows? I have a bunch of family photos I'd like to make into a
movie-type CD. Have never done it before and have no idea where to start.
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You would have to write your own autorun if you wanted to make it run when
inserted but I think you should be able to do it with XNView...

You can use the FREE MovieMaker2 or PhotoStory3. Both are very good for
making slide shows of photos with music and titles.... and they are FREE :-)

After seemingly trying them all, I've settled on ProShow Gold. Very highly
recommended -- easy to use, great transitions, etc.
