I recently couldn't get the program Easy Creator CD to
work on my machine (wouldn't run when started the .exe
file). So I repaired the Easy Creator CD using the
installation CD but this didn't fix the problem. SO to
fix the problem I uninstalled Easy Creator CD and removed
all references to the program from the registry using
regedit. After restarting the machine I then re-installed
Easy Creator CD.
I then burnt a CD which crashed the machine when the CD
was 99% complete.
I then restarted the machine the next morning and windows
2000 wouldn't load and crashes continually.
A statement mentioning something about the SOFTWARE file
being corrupt appears just before the machine crashes.
Do you know of any methods to get windows running again
without losing the data on the hard drive.
Thanks
