hello,
I bought a computer notebook a year back and bought a
desktop but I wanto to install the microsoft works into
my desktop and cannot do it. Do I have to buy the
software? The notebook computer came with the
microsoftworks.

I think you are supposed to install the software on only one computer at a
time, unless you purchase more than one copy.

If you want to move it from your notebook to your desktop, look to see if
you have the CD's that came with the notebook. They should have given you a
backup copy of all the software on the computer. If you can't find them,
contact the people that sold it to you to get replacement CD's.

Matthew

If you bought a full version of the software you may install it on a desktop
and a laptop that you own. An OEM version may only be installed on the
machine it was supplied with.
