software compatibility

I have installed a program on my system that uses
Quicktime 5.01. when I check the software compatability
files I find Quicktime 5 Public Preview 3 and Quicktime
5.02... does this mean the Q/time 5.01 that bundles with
the program I need to run wont work? I am using OS
Microsoft Office XP Professional 2000 version 2002?
