Software cannot read the hard drive

Sanford Aranoff

A problem suddenly occurred. I use AtBackup to save files. Now when I
run it I get a runtime error,
c:\Program Files\OnLineBackup\OnlineBackup.shl.

Tech support said the reason is that the OnlineBackup cannot read from
the hard drive. Yet otherwise I can read all my files, using Windows
Explorer or anything else.

Do you have any suggestions?

Sure, I can get another program. My concern is that I am sure it is a virus,
even though my AV does not detect anything.

However, based on the quality of tech support you got from that backup
software company, I can't imagine why you wouldn't think the fault lies
with their software.

Your paying what....$150.00 per year????...$250??
for 2/3 of that you can buy HD and Mobile Rack and set up your own backup
.........
and not have to put up with lousy tech support
