Just about to upgrade. Most common brands here are Asus, Gigabyte and MSI.
Any problems with these? Any preferences?
Thanks

page, the title of the review is:
"New and Improved: NVIDIA nForce3 250 Gb Chipset"
Where do you see "150"?

I went with the MSI K8T Neo FSR (no fire wire, only 2 SATA ports)
based on Tom's reviews and I am very happy with the system. In fact,
I even bought a second one for my wife!

I'm considering the above board, just looking at the manual I downloaded, it
says on p2.9 'plugging memories in DIMM1 AND DIMM2 makes the system reach
optimum performance' ?? So if I want 1 Gig of RAM do I use 2 x 512MB dimms
OR 1 x 1 GB dimm ?? 1 dimm would be preferable for possible future
upgading, rather than using 2 slots (of the 3). I'm slightly confused.
You'd have to ask whomever wrote it I guess. Could be they're talkingSo why does the manual state "'plugging memories in DIMM1 AND DIMM2
makes the system reach optimum performance" ??
