Socket 478 CPU (Northwood Pref)

Hey,

Anyone know where i can still get a Socket 478 Northwood with an 800FSB, if one exists at all?

Or is it only the Prescott which has an 800FSB?

Need to buy one to kit out a Barebone unit.

I told you mate that some Northwood chips have 800mhz FSB's... Because i own one!

The 1st link rush posted is a prescott as it has an 'E' suffix

^ Think thats a northwood - Northwoods actually run faster in common applications.

What RAM would I run alongside a 533FSB CPU?

Ah missed your last thread Postill, will have a look at ordering one of them me thinks!

Just FYI.

Ended up getting an Intel SL6WK aka (Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz Northwood, 800FSB, 512KB L2 Cache)

Should be here sometime in the near future... having it imported, couldn't find a cheap one in the UK
