Are Socket 370 and Socket A heatsink/fans interchangable?

Would a heatsink for Socket A fit on a Socket 370 flip-chip?

Somewhat, yes. It's fit on the CPU, the clip will be a
little tight on an old nickled-heatspreader Celeron but
still manageable. The locking tabs in the center line up
too but there can be an issue of clearance. AMD spec's a
"keep out" zone, a certain distance around their sockets.
Intel did as well and it was a smaller area around socket
370. That means some socket A 'sinks will be too wide or
long to fit. A grinder or hacksaw will usually resolve
that, but since a 'sink good enough to cool a socket 370
chip is only a couple bucks these days it may not be worth
the time.

Thanks a lot.
