So why do you use Internet explorer anyway?

Unless you are close-minded person, or your orginasation requires you to use
IE, trust me there is no reason to use IE whatsoever.

OPERA : Lighter, 1000 times safer , many features, very simple to use so
that any average users can use it out of the box. And trust me instead of
getting rude "check your computer for malware", people on Opera forums really
help in solving problems/issues.

What's rude about asking people to do the very things that cuse issues in
Windows machines? In a large majority of cases, spy/malware IS the cause of
a lot of problems.

Because, thats the only reply that is given. IF a person is running an
antispyware, then its goodbye, over. Go Look after yourself.

A reminder: Opera isn't affected by malware, incase it isn't obvious ;)

Hah! - only because no-one can be bothered to write malware for it! (and
because the users of Opera tend to be more techno-savvy than the noobie
computer user)
I can make no sense of what you're trying to say in your first para, here -
quite apart from the fact that it is common decency to include at least
relevant parts of the post to which your responding
Why, when you update Opera, do you have to uninstall the old version? Why do
security patches for Opera come out so often?

WRT spyware, even Opera is subject to the problem - because many times the
user is the interface which allows the malware into the PC, not the browser!
Here in the IE groups, we admit reality - the average user (who doesn't
exist!) knows nothing about how to use 'safe hex', and tends to click
merrily on anything that looks pretty just to see what happens. We therefore
attempt to deal with the consequences in the most sensitive way we can - but
sometimes people just don't want to be told that the problem may be their
habits, rather than the fault of the program they're using.
Where the problem is malware, if the initial exchanges don't bring about a
resolution, then the OP is pointed towards specialist forums, where they get
dedicated and knowledgeable assistance from experts in the field.

It's very obvious that you've never spent any time in these newsgroups!

It MAY be affected by malware, although it's less likely to be given the
current malware trends.

IMHO it's quite rude to spam about Opera on these forums, I guess you
wouldn't like it either when people did the same thing with IE on the Opera
forums (like the Firefox fanboys do).

Hey i learned this from IE only! throw a dumb, sucky browsers in your S,
name it 'Internet explorer' , and then force the average users to use it in
the name of 'user friendliness' . Nice

Please don't tell me you are so ignorant, that you think the above is true.
Wait a second

Ah that explains IE's state.
Opera in practically immune to spyware(in the near future atleast), it
doesn't have the architecture for third party programs to attach dumb-addons
or spyware. Which doesn't mean it have features/ extension capability.

Listen, stop making yourself look so ignorant. You don't have to uninstall
the old-version before removing Opera, you can install right over it.
And security patches come out often?? What? opera has 1/1000 th of security
problems as compared to IE. You cannot dispute that.
It's very obvious that you've never spent any time in these newsgroups!

and why on earth would i even want to do that , lmao!!
