Just downloaded 2.0 Beta 2!

Does anyone know when 2.0 final is expected?
I can't wait to use it in production!

There are common gossip about the release in the September. But I expect it
earlier.

Hmmm.. That's longer than I thought, but if there is no more betas,
that's probably it.

If I have my server in my company, and I'm not distributing it to
anyone, I'm just testing and using it at my own risk, I don't need this
license right?
 
That's correct. The go-live license is intended for situations when you want
to distribute apps built against the beta to your customers.
 
The PDC is held in September. I wouldn't expect more then a "Release
candidate" version for September and maybe the real CDs/DVDs for December.

We plan on doing some testing with beta 2.
In moving from beta 1 to beta 2, we've found that we need to first uninstall
the beta1 framework from target machines. Will the final framework installer
Update an existing beta 2 installation, uninstall it automatically, or will
the beta 2 framework also have to be manually uninstalled?
