So, the epson 2480 is not supported by silverfast, am i right?

Hi

I tried to download the trial version of silverfast just to discover
that the Epson 2480 isn't in the supported scanners list,or am i wrong?
I thought this epson model was popular enough to diserve lasersoft's
attention.

My guess is that Silverfast figured since Silverfast software would cost
more than the scanner itself, there wouldn't be much of a market for
Silverfast. Therefore it wouldn't be worth the investment to customize a
version for it.

I have a 2480 which came with Silverfast SE? The sad part...the scanner
was one of those Epson faulty ones that had dust in them. Worked well
though.
